At the board meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026, the school board adopted an amended calendar. There were no added school days or days taken away, there were just days shifted around. Here are the changes:
- Fall Festival moved to October 24, 2026.
- No school on October 26, 2026 for staff in-service.
- November 10, 2026 is now a school day.
- March 2, 2027 is now a school day.
- No school on March 29, 2027 for staff in-service.

Just sending a reminder about tomorrow. Students will rotate through stations, and identify their strengths and weaknesses of the TSI materials. We will have a parent meeting from 11:00-12:00 in the library to cover all information regarding the TSI and answer questions. We hope to see our 9th and 10th graders there!
What a wonderful Grandparents Game Night! We loved seeing so many smiling faces. Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us. Your presence means so much. And a big shout out to our teachers for setting up, serving walking tacos, and making the night so welcoming. We are grateful for this amazing community.

📢See you at the pole information📢 This Wednesday, September 23rd join our students for see you at the pole starting at 7:10. Drop off will be on the cafeteria instead of the horseshoe for Wednesday.

Coming Together for One of Our Own
One of our teachers, Mrs. Lightfoot, was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be having surgery in the coming weeks. She means so much to our students, staff, and school, and we want to surround her and her family with the love and support of our entire Eagle community during this time.
We’ll be selling support shirts, with all proceeds going directly to her family to help with expenses. We’re also planning a community staff-student volleyball game, with proceeds from concessions and other activities going to support her family.
More details will be coming soon. For now, we’re asking our community to do what Murchison does best—come together, show up, and take care of one of our own.
