Coming Together for One of Our Own
One of our teachers, Mrs. Lightfoot, was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be having surgery in the coming weeks. She means so much to our students, staff, and school, and we want to surround her and her family with the love and support of our entire Eagle community during this time.
We’ll be selling support shirts, with all proceeds going directly to her family to help with expenses. We’re also planning a community staff-student volleyball game, with proceeds from concessions and other activities going to support her family.
More details will be coming soon. For now, we’re asking our community to do what Murchison does best—come together, show up, and take care of one of our own.
Please see the flyer for more details and students will be coming home with order forms tomorrow. Here is the link for community t-shirt orders: https://forms.gle/Sa6mEhddPWFchJ6q7

As we welcome everyone back to school, we are excited to see our student enrollment growing! With that growth comes a few growing pains—especially during afternoon pick-up.
We ask our families and community to please give us a little grace and extra patience during the first few weeks of school as everyone settles into new routines. Traffic may move a little slower than usual, and we are working to make the process as safe and efficient as possible for our students and families.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation. We are grateful to see our school community growing, and we appreciate everyone working together to make dismissal a safe and successful process! 🦅💚💛
